What you'll do:

The Industry Advisor (IA) plays a critical role supporting our Industry business to grow sales pipeline and engage with our customers to secure revenue. The Industry Advisor provides industry perspective, strategic solution advice, and thought leadership to drive pipeline growth and quality through demand generation strategies, support sales cycles and customer co-innovation programs, and contribute to building SAP’s leadership position in the Utilities industry.   • Get doors open for SAP through executive connects and conversations

  • Help shape the engagement by advising the sales teams to ensure the right industry message is delivered in deliverables like RFP responses, business cases, product demos, industry solution architecture, etc.

  • Support post sale advisory and Executive Steering Committee meetings for top accounts in plan

  • What you bring:

  • At least 15+ years professional experience in large IT organizations
  • Working experience and solid domain skills in the utility space
  • Expertise in Utilities Industry, including some of the niche topics such as ‘Distributed Energy Resources’, ‘Energy Transition’. ‘E2E Lead to Cash’, ‘Dynamic Tariffs’, ‘Market Deregulation’, ‘Retail & Network Billing’, ‘Smart Metering’, etc.
  • Understanding and deep knowledge of the various technology enablers to drive Digital Transformation in Utility context

    The Role:
    The Manager - Salesforce Technical Expert to lead and support our Salesforce ecosystem, including system implementation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of integration with SAP ERP.     What You Will Be Doing :

    Salesforce Administration
    Support the implementation, setup, and configuration of Salesforce (Sales, CPQ, Service Cloud).
    Perform daily administration tasks including user setup, security roles, profiles, data integrity, workflows, and reports.
    Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce configurations based on evolving business requirements.
    Execute data migration during rollouts to new entities.
    Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct user training sessions.
    Maintain clean and accurate CRM data within Salesforce.

    Integration & Technical Oversight
    Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce, particularly in its integration with SAP ERP and other enterprise systems.
    Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure reliable data flow and synchronization between Salesforce and SAP.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration and system performance.

    Business Analysis & Stakeholder Communication
    Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
    Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
    Prioritize enhancement requests, manage a backlog of change requests, and support issues.
    Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and system architecture.

    Partner & Project Management
    Coordinate with internal developers and third-party vendors to implement new features, system updates, and customizations.
    Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for Salesforce-related initiatives.
    Ensure all solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with best practices

    Communicating with stakeholders, team members and project managers on project status, including progress, risk and any issues that may have an impact on project delivery
    Managing customer expectations and proactively closing expectation gaps
    Participates in pre-sales estimate reviews to ensure necessary engineering labor is specified to meet contract requirements and sequence of operation.
    Responsible for project related communication with customer. Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers/ITL’s/Location Co-coordinators and/or functional peer group managers; often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
    Responsible for customer satisfaction, meeting productivity / utilization targets, OTTR, Quality metrics within the engineering team.
    Impart technical trainings as necessary. Act as a coach for team members.
    Responsible for analyzing customer feedback and identifying appropriate actions to improve overall customer satisfaction.
    Ensure adherence to laid down Processes, improve current processes applicable for overall project execution.
    Ensure effective use of various engineering & workflow tools to achieve required productivity & quality goals
    Participate in selection process
    Knowledge transfer within and across the engineering MUST HAVE
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
