Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect & Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise security solutions. This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with deep technical knowledge to ensure secure architecture design, as well as hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining security technologies across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Architecture:
- Design and develop secure architecture strategies for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions that align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk assessments, and architecture reviews for enhancements, POCs, Critical systems and projects.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure and operation teams to integrate security controls into system designs.
Security Engineering:
- Implement, configure, and manage security tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, EDR, SWG, WAF, CASB, IAM, DLP).
- Familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, EDR, antivirus, VPN, ISE etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tools.
- Troubleshoot roadblock or issues and find a solution.
- Monitor and tune security systems to ensure optimal protection and performance.
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Security.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and OCI).
- Experience in network, endpoint, and web security.
Preferred Tools/Technologies:
- Cisco Umbrella, Cisco ISE, Firewalls, EDR, CASB.
