High level role
This is a full-time Oracle PPM - Project Portfolio Management role that understands both project costing and project billing modules. This is a senior role and will also involve mentoring of Junior Consultants for assisting with the implementations and maintenance of Oracle PPM and related modules .
The Oracle PPM / Grants Management Consultant is responsible for delivering end-to-end Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management and Grants Management solutions for our clients. The role involves capturing specific requirements, facilitating workshops, designing solutions, and configuring Oracle Cloud PPM modules to support grants and project management needs.
Requirements Gathering and Workshop Facilitation
- Engage with client stakeholders, including academic, research, and finance teams, to capture detailed business requirements related to grants management and project financials
- Plan, schedule, and lead workshops, walkthroughs, and discovery sessions to gather business processes, pain points, and future state needs
- Document functional and technical requirements for Oracle PPM and Grants modules, ensuring traceability to business objectives
- Produce and review requirements documentation, business process flows, and workshop outputs
Solution Design
- Design Oracle Cloud PPM and Grants Management solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices
- Map client requirements to Oracle standard functionality and identify areas needing configuration or enhancement
- Prepare solution design documents, including process maps, configuration workbooks, and design specifications
- Review and validate the design with business and technical teams
System Configuration and Implementation
- Configure Oracle Cloud Project Financials, Grants Management, and related PPM modules (e.g., Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Budgets, Project Resources, Grants Management)
- Manage data mapping, migration, and setup activities for master data (such as projects, awards, funding, resources, and budgets)
- Perform unit and integration testing, support UAT, and resolve issues identified during test cycles
- Work closely with technical consultants to support interface, reporting, and customisation needs as required
