+ 6+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering or operations preferably Azure
+ Experience with multiple Azure Services: Azure FW, Front Door, Application Gateways, VM's , VMSS, AKS, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Cosmos, Azure SQL, App Service, Function Apps, EntraID
+ Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
+ Proven track record in managing and optimizing containerized platforms
+ Strong analytical skills, skilled in diagnosing and resolving cloud platform, hardware, and software issues.
+ Strong understanding of cloud networking
+ Familiarity with multiple database technologies like Cosmos, SQL, Redis

**Description**
The Enterprise Observability Systems Engineer will support, administer and operate enterprise observability solutions. Cigna is a multinational company and a leading global health services provider, dedicated to helping people improve their health, wellbeing and sense of security.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Support observability products and solutions, to include implementation, migrations, documentation and decommissioning
+ Conduct periodic reviews and rationalize installed products
+ Optimize and automate solutions to increase performance, availability and reduce cost
+ Integrate infrastructure components into existing monitoring products
+ Provide escalation support to engineering, operations and other staff
**Qualifications Required**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience managing enterprise monitoring systems such as Spectrum, Network Node Manager, NetCool, TruSight, SolarWinds or Moogsoft
+ Minimum of 3 years supporting commercial and open-source products on Linux and Windows Experience with Linux systems administration required Experience with Windows required
+ In-depth knowledge using SNMP, MIBs and OIDs to collect observability data from infrastructure components
+ Experience desired with scripting and programming with Perl, Python or Powershell to leverage APIs
+ Experience desired with Postgres, MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle or another similar DBMS
+ Basic knowledge of Wide and Local Area Networks
+ Basic knowledge of network protocols and applications including SYSLOG, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, IPSec, NAT, ACLs
+ Experience in customer service and/or operations
+ Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication abilities
+ Experience working on Agile SCRUM & KANBAN teams
**Education Required**
Four-year university degree or college diploma in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems required Or equivalent work experience.

As a Dynatrace Sr. Engineer (Infrastructure Engineering Advisor) for Cigna's Enterprise Application Performance and Synthetic Monitoring Team you'll provide operations, engineering, design and troubleshooting support for the teams on premise and SaaS based Monitoring products. You'll also be working with peers and customers gathering requirements, Configuring Monitoring, Platform Delivery and support. Assist with dashboards, reports, and knowledge objects. The role will require you to use your hands-on technical expertise with Dynatrace, Ansible, Python, Java and other developer tool sets to come up with solutions for technical and business problems. You should have a continuous learning and engineering mindset along with the ability to adapt new technologies to improve our Monitoring offerings.
- Support systems engineering lifecycle activities for Dynatrace deployments, including requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, operations, and documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and identify root cause of problems across the enterprise Application Performance and Synthetic Monitoring environment.
- Work on and lead projects that drive continuous improvement, enhancements of products, services offerings, and governance.
- Coach and mentor customers and staff that may need technical assistance or guidance.
- Partner with Agile Program and Product Management leads to develop, plan, and execute large initiatives.
- Available On-Call 24x7 support on a rotational schedule.
Education:
- Any bachelor's degree

Experience:

+ Able to resolve vulnerabilities when notified of items with a vulnerability
+ Able to provide audit information as requested
+ Provide technical support on incident calls as needed
+ Accurately log and document all information in the network infrastructure
+ Perform investigation and triage for alerts and events
+ Troubleshoot complex/multitier issues within the network infrastructure
+ Perform escalation of incidents to higher tier support groups, vendors, and other support staff
+ Perform monitoring and event management support for the entire network infrastructure
+ Accurately log and document all changes/incidents in Service Now ticketing system
+ Identify opportunities for improvement in the monitoring and event management tools and processes
+ Provide planning and vendor oversight for network change activity
+ Report key performance metrics to management
