Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Service Management (OSM) infrastructure, including servers, databases, and related components.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal operation of OSM environments.
• Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching of OSM systems to minimize downtime.
• Provide L2/L3 support for OSM infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Analyze logs, performance metrics, and system alerts to identify root causes of incidents.
• Coordinate with development teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve critical issues.
• Optimize OSM infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement best practices for system configuration, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct capacity planning to support business growth and new service rollouts.
• Work closely with application developers, network engineers, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of OSM with other systems.
• Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance system reliability.
• Ensure OSM infrastructure complies with organizational security policies and industry standards.
• Implement security patches and updates to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
Required Qualifications
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Education: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 4-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, with at least 3 years working on Oracle Service Management (OSM). Proven experience in managing Linux/Unix-based systems.
