• Client Acquisition & Market Penetration : Identify and engage companies in need of plastic injection moulding services, with a specific focus on sectors such as electronics, automotive, toys, household items, and appliances .
• Strategic Business Development : Formulate and execute robust growth strategies that are closely aligned with the company's manufacturing capabilities and expansion plans.
• P&L Management : Own the profit and loss accountability for the injection moulding division, ensuring aggressive revenue targets are met, costs are controlled, and margins are continuously improved.
• Solutions Selling : Present tailored moulding solutions based on intricate client requirements, effectively leveraging our vertically integrated production strengths.
• Relationship Building : Develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key decision-makers at client organizations.

• Experience : 8-15 years in business development , with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role involving P&L responsibility .
• Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of plastic materials, moulding processes, and manufacturing cycles .
• Industry Familiarity : Proven experience in sectors such as electronics manufacturing, automotive parts, and consumer goods .
• Commercial Acumen : Proficiency in contract negotiations, accurate sales forecasting, and effective client account management.
• Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead a business development function and collaborate effectively across various departments.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business , or a related field. An MBA is advantageous .

 Responsible for planning & scheduling shift production targets in a particular shift

• Monitoring raw material issued and finished goods supplied to store and material matching
• Responsible for manpower handing and their effective utilization

The Injection Moulding Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, keen attention to detail for quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and capable of working in a manufacturing environment, often in rotational shifts.

• Machine Operation:
• Set up and operate injection moulding machines according to work instructions and production schedules.
• Load and unload moulds, ensuring proper alignment and clamping.
• Feed raw plastic materials into the machine hopper.
• Monitor machine parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle time) and make minor adjustments as needed to ensure optimal production and product quality.
• Quality Control:
• Perform visual inspection and basic quality checks on produced parts to identify defects (e.g., short shots, flash, warpage, discoloration).
• Segregate defective parts and report quality issues to the supervisor or quality control team immediately.
• Ensure parts meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the injection moulding machine and moulds to prevent contamination and ensure smooth operation.
• Assist in tool changeovers under the guidance of supervisors or technicians.
• Identify and report any machine malfunctions, abnormalities, or production deviations.
• Production & Documentation:
• Ensure consistent production output as per targets.
• Accurately record daily production data, including output, downtime, and material consumption.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S methodology ).
• Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, procedures, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during machine operation.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, quality control personnel, and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient workflow and resolve production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and Development:

• Lead the R&D team in developing and testing new plastic formulations and recipes.
• Conduct experiments to determine the feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness of new materials and additives.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to source and evaluate new raw materials.

2. Cost Reduction:

• Identify opportunities to reduce raw material costs through innovative recipes and efficient material usage.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with product specifications and regulatory standards.
• Analyze cost implications of new formulations and recommend adjustments to meet budgetary goals.

3. Process Optimization:

• Optimize the injection molding process parameters to enhance productivity and reduce material wastage.
• Work with the production team to implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues related to material usage.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of the molding processes to identify areas for improvement.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all new formulations meet or exceed quality standards and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement quality control protocols for new materials and recipes.
• Collaborate with the QA team to resolve any quality issues arising from material changes.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of all R&D activities, experiments, and results.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on the progress of R&D projects and cost reduction initiatives.

6. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality / R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of R&D objectives.

Qualifications:

Education:  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Experience :

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plastic injection molding Quality / Operation / R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in developing cost-effective plastic formulations and recipes.
• Experience with various types of plastics and additives used in injection molding.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment focused on sustainability and recycling.
