Function/Team: Instruction Specialist Team

Location: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai

Reports to: Director of Learning

Overview of the Team: The Instruction Specialist is uniquely positioned to implement Akanksha's vision that aims at the holistic development of each child. At Akanksha we teach using a self-designed curriculum based on the principles of authenticity, inquiry and skill-development. The team designs and develops content for the Akanksha curriculum. It trains teachers and School leaders to develop strong instructional practices. The team works to identify and bridge achievement gaps through systematic data-driven inquiry. The team also supports schools in identifying and executing goals that build soft skills in children and helps the schools identify spaces and ways to work with parents as our partners.

What your role will entail:

● Review the skill progression for the subject in which the IS specializes - (English/SST, Math/Science or English/Math)

● Review the curriculum content and lesson plans based on NCERT guidelines in Grade 8 and above.

● Review the MoY / EoY assessments for the subjects.

● Review the assessment blueprint / framework for the MoY and EoY.

● Review the additional resources / content that is relevant and aligned to the units and that can be used in addition to the CBSE content.

● Curate and Codify the 'Recommended Best Practices' for the subject combination working closely with other Instructional Specialist team members with a focus on integrating technology.

● Build Educator Capacity through regular learning spaces/workshops that train Coaches/School Leaders/Mentors/Teachers on

○ Understanding our pedagogical approach, skills progression and content choices.

○ Implementing Akanksha Best Practices in the classroom.

● Developing and Implementing Formative and Unit Assessments.

● Support mentor development through school visits, observation, feedback and coaching.

● Data Analysis - Analyze student and teacher data in collaboration with subject mentors to identify trends and support the planning of next steps for instruction and professional development.

● Collaborate with the School Coaches to understand prevailing instructional practices / areas of support for schools to inform the professional development offerings in the subsequent months.

● Collaborate with the Digital Learning team and 3-8 IS team to ensure consistency and effective integration.

● Research on Curricular Frameworks, Best Practices and Ed. Developments to build our own capacity and learn continuously.

● Work from school at least 4 days a week, and 1 day working with the central team. This would include observations, debriefs, teacher check-ins, mentor support, walkthroughs, and need based PDs.

● Identify and build capacity to create future leaders in the school/organisation.

● Collaborate and coordinate with external partners (NGOs or other CBSE organisations) to implement curriculum, assessments, and best practices.

● Document and share Teachers' and Teacher leaders' best practices to help the school leadership in appraisal conversations.

What you need for this Position :

Experience:

● Minimum of 2-3 years of successful teaching experience

● Previous experience of working with CBSE School required

● Prior Curricula / Instructional Design / School Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory

● Experience of teaching/leading in CBSE Secondary section is preferred Knowledge/Skills:

    The Private Capital Loan Cash Instruction Officer plays a critical role in the Private Capital

    Missions:

    Private Capital Loan Cash Instruction Officer is the privileged interlocutor to receive and process Loan cash instruction in the context of Loan trades.

    The corner stone of this activity is the correct cash processing performed on timely manner to respect the relevant cut off or SLA commitment.

    Private Capital Loan Cash Instruction Officer will have to deal with PC Loan Solutions Officer and be exposed to loan industry, providing the possibility to expand the knowledge of all team members.

    Primary Role Responsibilities
