Provide technical support to internal clients as it relates to placing and servicing of Commercial Insurance and Personal Insurance coverage for clients, inclusive of:

  • liaison to optimize the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Disseminate the appropriate needs of the client as it relates to Commercial Lines Insurance
  • Facilitate requests and needs of Carriers on behalf of clients
  • Coverage knowledge includes (but is not limited to) Business Owners Policies, Commercial Package, Mono Line Property, Mono Line Commercial General Liability, Inland Marine, Business Auto, Umbrella, and Workers Compensation


JOB INPUTS:

Under the supervision of an Account Executive, Account Manager II, or Direct Supervisor

  • Obtain Claims data, evaluate for trends, and create loss summaries
  • Follow up on claim assignments with insurers as required
  • Generate Acord applications as requested
  • Issue confirmation of coverage and other insurance documents as required.
  • Execute routine policy changes with insurers
  • Bill policies according to the billing worksheet
  • Follow up on the timely issuance of Insurance policies and Audits
  • Review policies, endorsements, & Audits for accuracy
  • Prepare renewal “kits,” proposals, and quarterly review presentations as required
  • Update the Operating Platform with underwriting data
  • Collaborate with Account Executives in assembling Marketing Submissions.
  • Issue renewal certificates, automobile identification cards, and confirmation of coverage letters.
  • Assist with determining the eligibility of drivers
  • Document management
  • Projects as assigned


Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Proficient in the use of various desktop tools, including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)


Relevant Work Experience:

  • 1-3 plus years of Account Management work in a Commercial Brokerage environment. Preferred candidate's previous job duties may include with job duties such as Claim Data analytics, assisting with preparing client documents, checking documents for accuracy, application and proposal generation.
  • A history of working in a team environment is a plus
  • Previous exposure to Property and Casualty terms and/or concepts is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret Contractual language and/or financial statements is preferred

**Job Description Summary**

FS is seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join its Execution & Underwriting team in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role will be based in Gurgaon, India or Singapore, and will primarily focus on the Indian market with potential involvement in transactions across the broader APAC region.
The Assistant Vice President will play a key role in supporting deal sourcing, execution, underwriting, and investment monitoring activities related to energy assets and platforms. These may include wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), gas power and emerging clean technologies such as green hydrogen and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS).
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to GE Vernova's mission of accelerating the energy transition. The selected candidate will support strategic equipment pull-through for GE V's technology portfolio-spanning Wind, Gas, Hybrids, Hydro, Pumped Storage, Solar, BESS, CCUS, and Green Hydrogen-while creating long-term value for both the company and its customers.
This role will be part of FS' commercial team in order to achieve GE Vernova Financial Services' goals in India and, as required, in the rest of the APAC region. The candidate will need to have working rights and permanent residence in the jurisdiction (India or Singapore) applying for the role.
**Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Execute due diligence and underwriting of complex energy development or project investments, including oversight of development partners and review of legal documentation and consultant reports such as environmental studies, market studies and independent engineer reports.
+ Present and defend analyses and approval requests to senior leadership with a clear and consistent approach to mitigate project risks.
+ Lead detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis using methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), and comparable company analysis; perform sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of varying project assumptions and risks.
+ Assist in the negotiation and structuring of term sheets and transaction documents.
+ Conduct research on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy and clean tech space.
+ Help identify new investment opportunities and support relationship-building efforts with developers, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders.
+ Monitor energy project pipelines, auction outcomes, and merger and acquisition (M&A) activity in target markets.
+ Protect and realize the value of portfolio investments through engaging project counterparties, monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating project modifications/restructurings, and executing asset sales.
+ Train and mentor junior investment professionals in a matrixed organization
+ Support GE Vernova strategic initiatives, special projects, and new business development opportunities.
**Qualifications, Requirements & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
+ A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in energy project development, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or renewable energy infrastructure.
+ Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
+ Familiarity with project finance structures, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), debt financing, and risk allocation mechanisms, is highly desirable.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present complex materials clearly.
+ Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.
+ Demonstrated passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and infrastructure investing.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
+ Travel may be required, as needed, to support business and customers within the region.
**Eligibility Requirements**
+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in jurisdiction of application (India or Singapore).
+ Must comply with pre-employment screening, including reference verification, and background check.
+ Note that there is a uniformly required employee non-solicit agreement for this position.
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Quantitative, engineering, or finance academic background.
+ MBA, CA or Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
+ Direct experience with utility-scale energy projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, or distributed generation.
+ Previous involvement in due diligence processes across different stages of energy project development.
+ Experience working with external consultants (such as tax, legal, technical, environmental) on infrastructure transactions.
+ Ability to analyze in detail key project contracts, legal documents, and due diligence reports such as market studies and independent engineer reports.
+ Skilled writer and communicator who can exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way.
+ Small group leadership experience.
+ Entrepreneurial mindset, with motivation to work through ambiguity and collaborate to problem solve across GE Vernova businesses.
