Responsibilities:
Must possess hands-on experience working in an applications production support/application development environment.
They must also possess detailed knowledge of multiple systems, as well as an in-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems to troubleshoot and resolve applications tickets.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for critical and non-critical automotive production applications for a large automotive company.
The role is to maintain, control and support the applications on the production lines.
Technical support and maintenance activities for the applications.
Daily tasks to be performed:
Working with the client's processes (incident, problem, change management).
Communicating and working closely with the users and the client.
Daily meetings with the team, occasional meetings with the client.
Problem analysis and documentation.
Performing root cause analysis.
Source code analysis.
Creating bug fix, releases and upgrades for the applications.
Occasionally configuring and optimizing the application and infrastructure.
Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through an incident management system.
Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to appropriate section.
Prioritize and handle service requests and incidents.
Progress issues and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or for clarification.

Responsible for improving and documenting the technical processes around application support (using Confluence).

The purpose of this role is to support and maintain the Workday application platforms to ensure that key integration CRs are implemented. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.

Job Description:

  • Partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to produce scalable and efficient solutions that can grow with the business
  • Design, develop, test and enable deployment of various types of integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, PECI, PICOF, Webservices, APIs, Report Writer and Calc Fields.
  • Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations and develop new integrations and monitor the production issues.
  • Manage project scope and client expectations, follow-through on assignments and issue resolution
  • Work with business stakeholders to determine problem areas and overall impact of projects
  • Help manage the timelines and deliverables within large, multi-month projects
  • Take complete ownership for the Projects/Change requests and deliverables.
  • Working effectively with Stakeholders and business and downstream applications and collaborating to achieve goals
  • Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

Qualification and Skills

  • 4 to 6 years of Workday Integration experience
  • Strong knowledge on Workday Integrations.
  • Should be able to use ServiceNow. Good at documentation.
  • Experience and fluency in Web Services standards and technologies ( XML, XSLT, XPath, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills used to translate information and requirements into documentation and solution design
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years ERP Human Resource experience on any Technologies, especially on Benefits domain (Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle.).

  • Experience in working closely with QA teams, reviewing test plans.
  • Proven experience and comfortable in managing multiple priorities and relationships with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet critical business needs and timelines
  • Strong time management and self-motivation skills
  • Deep technical capability and ability to drive technical conversations and changes aligned with project and digital technology goals
  • Self-starter, adaptable, detail oriented, strategic thinker
  • Experience with large projects/implementations
