Responsibilities:

**Chemical Request Review & Approval**
+ Evaluate chemical requests for completeness, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and intended use location.
+ Review SDS to ensure it is current (not older than 3 years), verify approval status, and assess duration of chemical use.
+ Communicate with requesters regarding approval decisions or required revisions.
**System Updates & Regulatory Compliance**
+ Upload approved SDS to the SDS Online Tool and enter chemical data into ProSteward and the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS).
+ Maintain accurate records for regulatory programs including:
+ Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA)
+ Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)

This is a fully remote position, perfect for an individual who excels in analytical tasks and can efficiently oversee stock management from anywhere. You will be responsible for ensuring product availability, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing inventory turnover to support our sales objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels across all locations and e-commerce platforms.
  • Forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activities.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align inventory with promotional campaigns and new product launches.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and maintain data integrity.
  • Analyze sales data to identify slow-moving items and recommend markdowns or promotional strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock counts, costs, and valuation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related role within the retail sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or specialized retail systems) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of retail operations and sales dynamics.
  • A dedicated home office setup with reliable internet access is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with e-commerce inventory management is a significant advantage.
