The Role

Within our Asset Management team at Kyndryl, you&aposll be a master of managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management(HAM/SAM) Domain & overall 8+ years of experience in IT Operations.
  • Understanding various licensing models (perpetual, subscription, user/device-based, etc.) for vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP, IBM, etc.
  • Expertise in tracking software installations, usage, and license entitlements.
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks like ITIL for asset lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS licensing models for platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and virtualized environments (VMware, Citrix).
  • Proficiency in managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
  • Experience with IT asset management (ITAM) tools and Strong Excel Knowledge and Basic BI.
  • Skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning related to IT assets.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, finance, procurement, and senior management.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)).
  • Experience with specific industry regulations and compliance requirements related to asset management.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.

    Job Description

    THE ROLE

    You will be working with the asset management team of a large and reputed global asset manager. You will be providing extensive support to the client's asset management group in carrying out the day-to-day activities of the underlying assets (loans, real estate, structured products, Aircraft leasing etc.) to maximise performance. You will be working closely with various internal functions (Investment team, Legal Transaction team, and Back Office functions) and external service providers of the client.

    Responsibilities

    Data Operations & Reporting Support:

    • Handle and manage large volumes of financial data related to real estate assets and structured finance transactions
    • Provide support in reviewing key components of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
    • Accurately input, format, and validate financial data from various sources (trial balances, statements, partner reports) into internal systems
    • Assist in the creation of recurring reports related to real estate assets, including property-level performance summaries, budget vs. actuals, and distribution schedules.
    • Ensure consistency and quality of financial information used for analysis, dashboards, and lender reporting
    • Help reconcile financial data with internal templates and partner submissions
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to oversee funding and distribution activities, and to create and prepare the cashflow funding files.

    Real Estate & Structured Finance Exposure:

    • Work closely with internal teams to support financial operations related to commercial real estate assets (e.g., office, multifamily, retail, industrial)
    • Gain exposure to structured finance concepts such as distributions, loan covenants, and fund structures

    POSITION PURPOSE:

    Responsible for complete, timely and qualitative execution of Accounting Operations for Asset Accounting according to the defined activity split. Accountable to the reliability of the financial statements in his/her scope of responsibility in accordance with BKA and BMA (Bayer policies), also considering the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and according to the country specific legislation and country specific tax compliant accounting treatment ensuring it is aligned with established standards enabling certification of FS by external auditors.

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be and act as the expert within assigned team/process/area by supporting and providing functional guidance to other colleagues.
  • Actively manage stakeholder relationships in stakeholder engagement framework (BKA changes, pre + post close.) and esp. operational topics and issues as a Sr. expert where challenges and incidents occur.
  • Accountability for complex/special process topics e.g. in HB1 (Local Accounting)
  • Actively participate and contribute at and to global expert communities through global calls and other media. Coordinate local key user’s communities and interface with global.

  • Interact with internal and external auditors ensuring prompt response to audit requests. Monitor and implement changes in ICS process, perform appropriate ICS controls.

  • Identify possible issues and subsequently manage changes.
  • Support optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve quality and efficiency.

  • WHO YOU ARE:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics or relevant degree.

  • Prior experience in executing technical projects (processes, organization and people).
  • Initiate and support optimization projects and continuous improvement + OE/digital initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Intermediate in SAP FI / CO module, good overview of interfaces with other modules and advanced level of Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel

    The Asset Management (AM) Risk Management team is committed to being a world-class leader in risk management, maintaining a system of strong controls, providing guidance and proactively managing risks within the Asset Management business. The AM Risk Management team, led by the AM Chief Risk Officer (CRO), while aligns to the Asset Management Line-Of-Business covering the broad spectrum of risks inherent in the global financial business, reports up to the Firmwide Risk function. 

    As an Investment Risk Associate within the Asset Management Risk Management Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring robust risk management practices across risk disciplines, including Investment Risk, Liquidity Risk, ESG Risk and counterparty risk. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the investment teams and other control functions, providing oversight and proactive management of the various risks stated above. Your responsibilities will include independently assessing and proactively partnering with the business on risk management activities, including escalation of any new or emerging risks and issues. You will execute risk-based independent monitoring while stay abreast of latest financial market trends, advising business and senior management on risk governance, and assist in developing innovative solutions to assess risk in an effective manner. The ideal candidate should have a risk management background or have experience in financial assets or portfolio management. We are seeking a motivated Associate with a proactive mind-set and can manage responsibilities and deliverables autonomously with a manager located in a different region and country.

    Job responsibilities:

  • Monitor emerging risks and potential impact to the business
  • Perform deep dives, including analysis of stress test, liquidity profiles, sustainability characteristics, performance, and present to stakeholders, including senior management and portfolio managers in the business
  • Carry out investigation and escalation of risk triggers
  • Lead risk management initiatives to enhance control, oversight, and monitoring of risks
  • Liaise with and present risks analysis to business partners such as with the Investment Directors and Portfolio Managers on risk reviews 
  • Present risk measures in the governance forums such as Investment Director Reviews, Liquidity Forum and in new business initiatives
  • Open-minded to learn new technology solutions to assist with improving processes and controls
