About job:


  • Operating, monitoring, controlling, and adjusting all equipment in the production process based on measurements or analysis of the product specifications.
  • Strict compliance to SOP, SOC, EHS procedures and administrative guidelines
  • Intervening when process disturbances in the production process occur and in consultation with Supervisor/ Manager to determine whether the production process needs to be stopped for reasons of safety or process/ product specification deviation.
  • Stopping and starting of installations
  • Troubleshooting small failures of machines and installations or invocation of R&M, in consultation with the Supervisor/ Manager as and when required.
  • Packaging of product in bags, weighing and shrink/ stretch wrapping and placing packaged products with a forklift in the designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform standardized product, process analysis, and monitor results, such that timely adjustment of the production process will take place.
  • This includes taking of samples compare the results of the laboratory with the specifications Deciding on the adjustments in the process within defined authorization.
  • Reviewing with Supervisor/ Manager to get timely and safe maintenance or repairs to machinery and installations.
  • Identifying and reporting (future) malfunctions
  • Documenting of production information for the shift reporting, so that colleagues are informed regarding the production, analysis etc. and technical failure of installations.
  • Observance of operating, environmental, health and safety regulations, housekeeping of equipment and work area. Being a role model to other team members.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of operating area and self-involvement in housekeeping


About you:


  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering/B. Sc with Chemistry as main subject.
  • 5-7 years of applicable experience, preferably in midsized similar industries. Proven track record and a minimum of 3 years of experience in production process at plant level.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
