The Opportunity
We, at Flywire, are looking for a BlueTeam Guy with a passion for tackling big problems. We need a BlueTeam Guy who can help protect Flywire's infrastructure and platform. of course the Flymates also.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in security anomaly detection tools and analytical capabilities to be able to implement security alerts and develop new use cases in order to increase preventative security. You also need to be comfortable collaborating closely with the RedTeam and Threat Intelligence teams in order to feed the systems with more relevant information.

Critical Skills to Possess:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience writing code in one or more languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Go).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) is a plus.
- Strong interest in cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure ; exposure to GCP or AWS is also valuable.
- Understanding of core security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption, least privilege, etc.).
- Comfortable working in a DevOps or agile engineering environment.
- Good collaboration and communication skills across engineering and security teams.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the cybersecurity space.
- Bonus: Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals , SC-900 , or Security+ are welcome but not required.
