Job Description

The Scheduler functions include advanced scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major residential project. 

A thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures that includes advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques, Risk Analysis, Risk Management, and support of project objectives. Provide expertise and best practice implementation in the workplace for the region with regard to the planning and scheduling discipline. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implement Project Planning & Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in consent with Project lead and Project Planner.
  • Promote and maintain the overall integration and integrity of contractor schedules within the Program suite of project schedules. 
  • Provide interface and quality assurance to Project functional groups and contractors regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance.
  • Preparing Staffing, Engineering and Construction progress and customized reports.
  • Perform Critical Path Analysis.
  • Conduct the required project schedule analysis, critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis for the project as a whole.
  • Analyse deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule highlighting bottlenecks / delays and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare the Integrated Planning / Scheduling contribution to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports / presentations.
  • Analyse and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order.
  • Ensure that schedule related from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems.
  • Working closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced.

    Qualifications

  • Education - (Civil),preferably with project management /construction management certification from reputed Institute.
  • +8 years of work experience with demonstrated career growth graph.
  • Sound Knowledge and experience of project management.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
  • Desire to work outside of core function and support the onsite team where needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Develops good working relationships with project team.

    As a member of the Project Core Team, liaise with:

  • Good understanding of the data architecture, integration and various industry frameworks Broad infra and technical architecture background.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of cloud native platforms and technologies
  • Basic data modelling and database design understanding including experience in SQL server / AWS
  • Expertise in Data migration project from On prem to Cloud platform
  • Provide inputs to define and execute strategic roadmap for enterprise data architecture by identifying the current landscape and future business goals
  • Help establish best practice like standards and guidelines for design & development, deployment, support and analytics and mining
  • Understand on Data Storage and Computation Frameworks, Performance Optimizations
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on implementation role in the areas of data techniques including data access, integration, modelling, visualization, mining, design and implementation
  • Client management from offshore • Engagement into RFP, Resource planning, Commercial activity and drive various Data driven initiatives
  • Technical Knowhow •Cloud Environment, SQL, High level understanding on Data visualization
  • Data Mining, Data Profiling, Data Modelling Strong experience providing guidance and mentoring individuals and teams Process driven mindset, detailed-oriented, rapid learner, enjoys trouble-shooting complex issues Strong aptitude in project skills; teamwork skills; strong desire to empower others Have experience influencing cross-functional teams, building relationships with stakeholders
