The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Testing Engineer to join their team in Savli, Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. 

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & deliver within timelines is essential. The candidate will have excellent communications skills. 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Should possess adequate knowledge and understanding of relevant national & international standards like IEC. 
  • Must be able to understand different kinds of electrical schematic drawings. 
  • Should be capable of tracing the fault & solving it (both electrical as well as mechanical) by referring the documents. 
  • Must have worked in the testing field and should have the knowhow of the testing equipment. 
  • Should have the experience of high voltage testing, partial discharge testing and routine testing of switchgear product. 
  • Candidate should have the basic knowledge of the switchgear’s product. 
  • Candidate should be able to do the electrical wiring independently in Local control cubical and able to verify basic interlocks. 
  • Capable to work independently and handle the day-to-day workload. 
  • Should supervise the team members and ability to deliver the output in targeted timeline. 
  • Should be familiar with practices such as 5S, KAIZEN, etc. 
  • Experience of co-ordination with various cross functions like production, stores, packing and marketing/planning 
  • Should be able to handle the customer inspection independently 
  • Should have the knowledge of the equipment calibration and its certification. 
  • Candidate should be young of age group 22 to 29 year.

  • A Diploma / bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with first class (above 60%) .

    GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    The ROPS Specialist I, Cash Posting (Lab) knows and performs all essentials duties and responsibilities as outlined below. Understands the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks at a level which meets department standards and ensures goals and objectives are achieved. Adheres to DaVita policies including corporate compliance and all rules and regulations under the law and accrediting bodies. This position reports to the Supervisor, Patient Accounting (Lab).

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Applies payments and/or denials to the appropriate patient claim accurately based on supporting documentation. Interprets non-cash denial line items accurately by selecting the closest related denial code in the AR system. When all efforts are exhausted, post unidentified items to unapplied cash and continues to seek resolution and perform adjustments within established department timeframes
  • Balances all posted amounts to check and batch amount; troubleshoot as necessary; resolve any out-of-balance conditions by posting adjustments and corrections for reconciliation purposes.
  • Researches difficult Remittance Advices for resolution to avoid posting to the unapplied cash account by communicating with the insurance company and collections team for resolution assistance
  • Update cash batch tracking, prioritize workload, resolves work queues, and adjusts misapplied payments timely
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 0-2 years experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months medical office or data entry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and how to read and locate information on insurance remittance advice or invoices preferred
  • Minimum of 50 wpm typing speed preferred
  • Strong 10-key skills by touch preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel required.

    1. Component Management & Trial Planning
    Maintain records of incoming customer components for pilot trials.
    Coordinate with internal stakeholders and product experts to finalize Design of Experiments (D.O.E) based on customer requirements.
    Schedule trial dates and determine the required batch quantity.
    2. Pilot Plant Preparation
    o Arrange all necessary chemicals and materials as per the finalized D.O.E.
    o Prepare all baths required for trials according to D.O.E.
    o Test and verify all baths using TSDS and maintain proper documentation.
    3. Trial Execution & Monitoring
    o Conduct actual pilot trials as per the set parameters.
    o Communicate trial results with the relevant teams and discuss findings.
    o Proceed with further experiments upon meeting initial customer requirements.
    4. Post-Trial Documentation & Analysis
    o Prepare detailed trial reports including:
    ▪ Products used
    ▪ Parameters followed
    ▪ Observed results
    ▪ Before and after pictures of components
    o Conduct performance testing such as NSST (Neutral Salt Spray Test) and AASST (Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test), if required.
    o Measure coating weight and thickness using XRF.
    5. Post-Trial Operations
    o Properly pack and dispatch components to concerned personnel.
    o Dispose of unused or unwanted chemical baths in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
    o Maintain records of main baths and key parameters.
    6. Maintenance and Testing Support
    o Ensure NSST and AASST chambers are functioning correctly, with parameters and results regularly documented.
    o Test customer-provided bath samples when requested.
    o Prepare for budgetary requirements for AMC and basic tools required for Pilot line .
     

    Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in pilot plant operations or surface treatment/chemical testing labs.

  • Strong understanding of chemical handling and lab safety protocols.
