Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the acquisition of private land & government land under the relevant acts, guidelines, and provisions
- Facilitate approval of forest diversion proposals, if any, under the FC Act and the FRA Act
- Preparation of transfer deeds, agreements, survey report, and facilitating land registration
- Plan and act proactively in land acquisition-related matters
- To resolve the existing land issues within the purview of land laws in coordination with the legal department
- Anchoring all land-related matters and strategizing them to promote and protect the company's interests
- Liaising for various approvals, permissions, consents, agreements, and legal certificates related to land laws
- Dealing with all statutory and authorized bodies like Tahsildar, Revenue Officers, LAO, etc., and other government bodies
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Any Graduate with at least 8 years of prior experience in land acquisition, with at least 5 years’ experience in land acquisition with a renewable energy developer of repute in India
- Should be conversant with Land Acquisition Acts and have exposure to handling land & rehabilitation matters
- Proficient in stakeholder management & active liaisoning
- A candidate with a law background will be preferred
