The City of Launceston has created a new Strategic Land Use Planning team to lead big-picture, long term planning for how and where the city develops.
After recently appointing a Principal Strategic Land Use Planner, the team is now recruiting for 2 x Senior Strategic Land Use Planners to work on diverse projects including:
- Implementation projects to deliver strong housing supply
- Finalising St Leonards and Waverley Neighbourhood Plan and Infrastructure Funding Framework and progressing with the scheme amendment
- Kicking off Neighbourhood Plan projects for residential growth areas
- Scoping out an employment land strategy
