About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead and oversee our Large Language Model (LLM) initiatives across multiple geographies. This role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects involving data annotation, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF), evaluation, and deployment of LLMs at scale.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in AI/ML with strong program management and stakeholder skills , ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with global regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership
- Drive planning, execution, and delivery of LLM/GenAI projects.
- Manage multi-country teams (engineers, annotators, contractors, vendors).
- Coordinate across internal stakeholders (engineering, product, legal, compliance).
- Technical Oversight
- Work closely with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps teams.
- Translate research and business needs into project milestones.
- Oversee dataset collection, cleaning, multilingual annotation, and model training.
- Operational Excellence
- Establish workflows for SFT, RLHF/RLEF, and evaluation pipelines.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality annotated assets (text, video, speech, gaming datasets).
- Track KPIs: throughput, quality, accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, OFAC compliance, and ethical AI standards.
- Work with legal counsel on contracts, vendor agreements, and global workforce compliance.
- Business Alignment
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define roadmap and ROI.
- Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and clients.
- Build strong client/vendor relationships (Google, Meta, Appen, Scale AI, etc.).
