The Principal Systems Design / Architecture Engineer is a highly skilled subject matter expert, responsible for providing expertise in defining the architecture for large systems.
This role conducts system design activities to ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
The Principal Systems Design / Architecture Engineer performs architectural analysis, evaluation, and design of systems that support and seeks to solve complex business and technical problems.
**Key responsibilities:**
+ Provides technical expertise on system design activities and advises on the review of application, software, and system components across a variety of technology stacks.

+ Implements architectural governance, standards, metrics for measuring, monitoring and improving architecture.

About Position:


Candidates will lead cloud infrastructure’s initiatives on AWS, focusing on automation, observability, and container orchestration. Your deep expertise in Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and SRE principles will drive performance, reliability, and scalability.

What You'll Do:


  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Bash.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure secure and scalable cloud-native architectures.
  • Configure and manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
  • Deploy and manage container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
  • Build and deploy Helm charts for Kubernetes applications.
  • Apply cloud security best practices and standards.
  • Monitor and manage SLI, SLO, SLA, and Error Budgets.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and DevOps/SRE methodologies.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of infrastructure and processes.
