Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network performance and availability using specialized tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and problems promptly.
  • Implement network configuration changes and upgrades according to established procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis for network outages and performance degradation.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network design and deployment projects.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for network support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to network capacity planning and performance optimization efforts.
  • Provide technical support to internal users and external customers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in network operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
  • Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for network automation is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
