What You’ll Do
As the Lead UI/UX Designer for Noteshelf, you’ll play a key role in defining how millions of users interact with the app every day.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and lead the end-to-end design process—from discovery to high-fidelity execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product goals and design intuitive, delightful interfaces.
- Mentor and guide a team of designers, ensuring quality and consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI for mobile and tablet platforms.
- Maintain and evolve the design system to scale consistently across features.
- Stay informed on the latest design trends, platform standards, and tools.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- A strong portfolio that highlights thoughtful UX and clean, polished UI—especially on mobile and tablet.
- Solid understanding of visual design principles like typography, layout, spacing, iconography, and color theory.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in graphic design and illustration is highly desirable.
- A personal interest in journaling, digital planning, or creative hobbies like art, sketching, lettering, or stationery is a big plus!
