The **DAV Group of Schools, Chennai**, functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in **1970 **at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over **40,000 students** across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1,200 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.
The DAV Group offers Education in the **K-12 sector** through **3 distinct modes -**
1. **Owned schools** - Dedicated visionaries, with their self-less actions and tireless work, created the DAV model.
2. **Managed Schools**:
- Management partnerships with 6 schools and takes complete responsibility for all administrative and academic operations.
3. **Associate Schools**:
- Academic Partnerships with 17 other schools across Tamil Nadu to share best practices in the education space, a one-of-its-kind model.
In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into **Higher Education** with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.
Apart from schools, the group has journeyed into multiple other areas - teacher training, in-house publications, sports academy, creative arts academy, Vedic Sanskriti School, coaching for various competitive exams and UPSC Civil Services Residential Program. In addition, the group offers a whole range of **social outreach services **in various sectors like **health & wellness, natural farming** etc.

Any teaching faculty who handles Classes VI and above (TGT/ PGT) or Educators with prior experience in school leadership roles may apply
**2.** **HM**
Any teaching faculty handling Classes I and above may apply.
