Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and production methods to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
    • Apply Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) to drive process improvements and waste reduction.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing processes.
    • Collaborate with production teams, quality control, and R&D departments to ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
    • Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, work instructions, and control plans.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
    • Evaluate and recommend new equipment and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
    • Train production staff on new processes and procedures.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and cost, and report on findings.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards within the manufacturing environment.
    • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
    • Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
    • Experience with process mapping, value stream analysis, and statistical process control (SPC).
    • Proficiency in CAD software for process layout and design.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with production planning and scheduling systems.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
