Job Description
2. To provide advice on different legal issues and assist in drafting legal opinions, memoranda and other briefing documents
3. To be actively involved in preparing and drafting of different acts and legal submissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions as well
4. To conduct legal research by utilizing various resources and selecting the relevant material to analyze the legal information
5. To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and to identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis
6. To draw up formalities regarding the settlement of disputes and monitor the implementation of the legal clauses
7. He /she is responsible for formulating the best possible legal solution after analyzing the legal problem in depth.
8. He/she should be able to provide the much needed legal assistance while dealing with some particular legal tasks, litigations, contracts, dispute resolution and guide the client on taking an appropriate decision.
9. He/she should be skilled enough to come out with a desired outcome from the client's point of view. He/she should be able to take correct decisions and provide the necessary professional support.
10.He/she also advises whether all the proceedings of the organization are in compliance with the requirements of the legislation.
11. He/she supervises, analyzes and researches the implication of laws, legislation, etc., that may affect the organization.
12. He/she advises the organization so that there is minimum legal exposure and

Job Description :
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer – Legal and Liaisoning Officer to handle the organization's legal affairs and manage regulatory and government liaisoning activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, provide legal counsel on business matters, draft and review contracts, and represent the company in legal proceedings and with external stakeholders.
Legal:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, JV agreements, leases, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice to internal departments on business transactions, company policies, and regulatory matters.
• Handle corporate governance issues including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and company law compliance.
• Manage litigation and arbitration cases; liaise with external legal counsel when needed.
• Monitor legal risks in documentation and guide managers accordingly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes that may affect the company.
Liaisoning:
• Act as the primary point of contact for liaising with government bodies, regulatory authorities, municipal corporations, and other statutory bodies.
• Obtain necessary approvals, clearances, licenses, and NOCs required for operations.
• Coordinate with external consultants and authorities for inspections, audits, or regulatory filings.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key government officials and departments.
• Assist in ensuring smooth functioning of operations by resolving legal and regulatory hurdles.
Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain proper records of all legal and liaisoning correspondence, filings, approvals, and contracts.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on legal cases, compliance status, and regulatory interactions.
Assist in drafting and implementing internal policies and systems to improve legal and regulatory compliance across departments
