Position Overview:
Keus Is Looking for a Sr. Lighting Designer in the Lighting Verticals. We are looking for someone to help the Sales/Technical team by creating lighting layouts in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Dialux, or EVO, and creating lighting BOQs.
This role requires functional competencies in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Dialux or EVO, and lighting technicalities, as well as lighting terminologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to create lighting concept presentations.
- Ability to develop lighting drawings on CAD or sketches from plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Manage & coordinate application design with clients and third parties, and internally.
- Ability to calculate luminous output and intensity of the lighting system, make layout plans, work drawings, and documentation of the lighting applications.
- Ability to edit 3D renderings to show simulated lighting scenes of the design intent.
- Research new lighting solutions and innovations.
- Using Dialux Evo & Photoshop, to do lighting simulations for presentation, reports as a project requirement, and for validation of the design proposed.
- Lighting project management and site coordination
- Coordinate projects with Architects, Designers, and Clients on-site and remotely.
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise the installation of the light fixtures to meet the client’s expectations when needed.

Qualifications:
- Education: Completed university education (diploma/bachelor/master) in lighting design or architecture preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of professional experience in lighting design and/or architecture, preferably in a studio environment.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe CC (especially InDesign & Photoshop), AutoCAD, Dialux, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Rhino and Revit is advantageous.
