This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the maintenance and optimization of our Linux-based systems. You will be pivotal in ensuring seamless usability and performance across our platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (Mandatory skill) is essential to support our infrastructure needs.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Mandatory skill) is crucial for system management and problem resolution.
• Experience with CentOS for efficient management of Linux servers and ensuring reliable operations.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting to automate tasks and streamline system administration processes.
• Skilled in using Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, and task automation.
• Knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration in code development and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues and improving system efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with teams and provide support where necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of Linux systems and proactively address any issues to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and deployments.

Education

B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science

Experience

Must have 3- 6 Years of experience in the field of Linux Administration.

Mandatory Skills/Knowledge

Redhat :-

1. Should have good experience of Linux Administration (OS Installation, Virtualization, Performance Monitoring/Optimization, Kernel Tuning, LVM management, File System Management, Security Management)

2. Should have very good experience in shell scripting and configuration management (Ansible).

3. Must have experience of Install and Configure Pacemaker based high availability Cluster.

4. Must have experience of troubleshooting common cluster issues.

5. Should have worked with Shared Storage and Multipathing.

6. Should have experience in Repository Creation and Management.

7. Should have experience in Os upgrade and patch management.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

1. Should have worked on Automating tasks by using Shell Scripts, Ansible

2. Basic understanding of Public Clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP /OpenStack)

3. Fundamental understanding of Ceph Storage Solution

Desired Certifications

1. RHEL / Redhat Certified Specialist

2. Implement the Firewall policy, natting, routing, VRF, VLan ect.

3. Prepare change documents with necessary details, Change plan, risk & impact analysis, test plan.

4. Perform & execute Network OS upgrade activity.

5. Follow Network device commission & Decommission process.

6. Maintain Network Hardening parameter, perform Firewall rule validation, User ID validation

7. Participate for device replacement activity.

8. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/ TLS, NTP & DHCP

9. Quickly resolve priority incident call & prepare RCA documents for review.

10. Coordinate with Product TAC engineer to fix complex network and security issue.

11. Network monitor, acknowledging alert

12. Having good understanding of Network Automation, Having good knowledge on Automation language python/Ansible.

13. Work with customers to understand their requirements and develop customized cloud solutions.

14. Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and meet regulatory requirements.

15. Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and technical demonstrations.

16. Create implementation guidelines and reusable design templates wherever possible.

17. Establish engineering and automation objectives

18. Consult with internal IT customers on net new and cloud migration initiatives.

3. Understanding and hands on Cisco ACI.

4. Strong knowledge of VPC, VDC, STP, Port-channel, VLAN

5. Experience on Routing protocol BGP, OSPF, VRF

6. Strong Experience on Cisco ASA Firewall, FTD, FMC

7. Experience on cloud platform, GCP will be preferred.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

11. Certifications CCNA/CCNP/CCSP, GCP, Any Citrix LB Certification.
