The Assistant Manager - Credit supports the overall strategic management of the credit section by establishing effective working relationships with colleagues, in particular the Director of Business Development, Director of Sales, Revenue Manager, Director of Banquet & Conference Sales and Accounts Receivable team. This role will convert the entire hotel's revenue into collected cash within the shortest agreed timescale through managing the credit control in a diligent and professional way.
**What will I be doing?**
As the Assistant Manager - Credit, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Conduct credit investigations so that an intelligent informed decision of a customer's credit worthiness, character and ability to pay may be ascertained to justify extension of credit.
- Ensure the collection of accounts receivable is kept current and follow up closely on aged accounts.
- Maintain good relations with hotel customers including but not limited to wholesalers, corporate clients, hotel guests, travel agents, tour operators, function organizers, airlines, government, etc.
- Review supporting documents to verify the accuracy of the balance of receivables.
- If full recovery of arrears is still not received after the timely provision for bad debts, ensure the cancellation of non-recovery account follows Hilton approval process.
- Report immediately any unfavourable information received affecting a customer's credit standing so that appropriate action may be taken.
- Report directly to the General Manager and / or Director of Finance on all matters affecting credit and collection.
- Ensure all credit application forms are approved and updated annually.
- Supervise the activities of the Credit staff in order to achieve an efficient and effective performance of each individual's duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure monthly closing is completed in a timely and accurate manner and that the vouchers are booked into the correct account.
- Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and / or Clerk to follow up on overdue accounts.
- Ensure that all collection calls have been made on a timely basis, documented in writing and followed up on a monthly basis.
- Schedule credit meetings at least once a month.
- Ensure that the number of debtor days outstanding is within the acceptable range as stipulated in the policies and procedures manual.
- Ensure that the month end processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare all supporting documentation for monthly allowances and monthly journal vouchers relating to the Receivables ledger.
- Ensure the timely and accurate entry of all credits to the various accounts.
- Ensure monthly closing is completed in a timely and accurate manner and that the vouchers are booked into the correct account.
- Pro-actively follow up on any outstanding accounts to ensure the hotel is protected from loss.
- Prepare all necessary reports pertaining to accounts receivable.
- Alert sister hotels on bad debt accounts information to avoid losses might be incurred in other sister hotels.
- Process and control all sundry payments made by credit card.
- Maintain an adequate and up to date filing system.

- University Degree, preferably in Commerce, Accounting & Management or any other Accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA/ CPA).
- Previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English to meet business needs.
- Good relationship with the local bank and government agencies.
- Good communication skill with clients.
- Possess systems skills in OnQ, Check SCM, SUN, OPERA/ OnQ PMS, MICROS, HRLINK.

Credit Risk Role


  • Should have prior experience in model development, model validation or model monitoring with Indian Banks.
  • Good understanding of Credit Risk Model Development steps starting with exploratory data analysis, roll rate, vintage analysis, good/bad definitions, factor selections, logistic/ linear regressions including assumptions and limitations, scorecard calibration
  • Credit Risk Model Validation starting from data preparation and analysis, validation tests, back testing, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis
  • Time Series analysis and forecasting
  • Economic Capital computation
  • Sound knowledge of IRB, IFRS 9, CECL, CCAR, SR-11-7, Scorecard, Wholesale & Retail Portfolio, credit card, CRD, CRR guidelines.
  • Regulatory Guideline - PRA, EBA, FED, HKMA


Degree/ Qualified accountant/FRM with regulatory reporting background

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • A power user of Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint. Acumen and demonstrated knowledge to use visualization tools (i.e., Power BI) will be advantageous
  • Investment banking product knowledge and other regulatory development around IB
  • SAS, Python, R
  • CA/MBA(Finance)/ M.SC (stats)
  • Certifications in CFA/ FRM


Good communication skills, analytical and presentation skills are mandatory for the above skill set.

This position is part of our specialized team delivering Mortgage Hard Money Loan Processing and Underwriting Services to a leading U.S.-based client in the mortgage finance industry—recognized for excellence in real estate lending, capital markets, and securitization.


Role: US Mortgage Loan Processor


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work on U.S. Mortgage Hard Money Loan Origination, Processing, and Pre-Underwriting.
  • Review and evaluate application forms, bank statements, background checks, credit reports, inspection reports , and other financial data to assess risk and eligibility.
  • Collect and verify borrower and broker documentation as per checklist requirements.
  • Conduct due diligence including KYC, property appraisal, title verification, insurance, and credit analysis.
  • Support underwriters by preparing loan files, financial models, and loan term sheets.
  • Analyze income, cash flows, and repayment capacity ; calculate interest and eligibility.
  • Review third-party reports, appraisals, and other collateral documents.
  • Enter/update data in loan origination systems and ensure compliance with partner guidelines.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • 3–5+ years of experience in U.S. mortgage origination and underwriting (Residential or Commercial).
  • Strong expertise in Fix & Flip, Bridge, New Construction, Multifamily Bridge, and DSCR Rental loans.
  • Deep understanding of credit analysis (Income, Assets, Liabilities — 3Cs of Underwriting) .
  • Proven ability to review property appraisals, tax certificates, insurance , and project documents.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
