  1. Use CrowdStrike reports to evaluate all security vulnerabilities on both Windows and Linux systems.
  2. Analyze the requirements to remediate the security vulnerabilities.
  3. Create processes that will remediate the vulnerabilities.
  4. Work with the Managed Services team and the BUs to schedule the remediations in within accepted scheduling windows.
  5. Execute these processes against the vulnerable systems to complete the remediation process.
  6. Confirm the remediations have been effective using CrowdStrike reporting and spreadsheet analysis (or by using whatever tools that are agreed upon by NTT and Enlyte leadership)

  • Develop and implement threat intelligence and threat hunting processes.
  • Work closely with SOC teams for incident response and mitigation .


5. VAPT & IT Security Operations

  • Perform Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing (VAPT) on infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Implement and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) .
  • Monitor, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities from external and internal security scans .
  • Work with teams to remediate vulnerabilities and harden IT assets.


6. IT Security & Compliance Management

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures .
  • Implement Zero Trust Architecture and IAM policies .
  • Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulations.

As an AppSec engineer, you will collaborate with software development teams to ensure we keep our customers safe while developing these novel services. In a given day, you might be inspecting an application's code for security issues, building a new framework to help our software developers build faster and more securely, or fine-tuning the design for a new service alongside its software developers.
The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with an ability to lead by influence and communicate clearly. Technically, this person will be a security generalist with one or more areas of deep expertise. In their communication, they will clearly articulate risks to technical and non-technical audiences alike. Interpersonally, successful candidates will effectively harmonize disparate opinions while effectively prioritizing risks to guide their partners towards secure solutions.

Basic Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Information Security, 3+ years of demonstrated experience of comprehensive application security assessments, including both automated and manual assessment.
- Hands on experience in threat modelling, architecture review, manual source code review, attacker exploit techniques, and methods for their remediation.
- Have good understanding of network architecture, enterprise IT systems and cloud such as AWS and programming or Scripting skills (E.g: Java, Python, Perl, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.) and can explain complex technical risks in simple, clear language that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand and act upon.
Preferred Qualifications
- You demonstrate excellent judgement in assessing and prioritizing technical risk and You have a strong application security background with a focus on scalable solutions
- You have experience building and securing cloud infrastructure such as AWS and work to identify and remove bottlenecks for your teammates, both in process and technology
- You create and maintain security documentation, including architecture designs, implementation guides, and best practices to promote secure development practices
- Identify security risks and drive continuous improvement in security controls and practices and collaborate with security stakeholders to develop security strategies

**Your day at NTT DATA**
The Security Managed Services Engineer (L1) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Firewall infrastructure remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and routing the incidents to correct resolver group. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. This role focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests.
This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.
**What you'll be doing**
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Monitors client infrastructure and solutions
+ Identifies problems and errors prior to or when they occur
+ Routinely identifies common incidents and opportunities for avoidance as well as general opportunities for incident reduction
+ Investigates first line incidents assigned and identifies the root cause of incidents and problems
+ Provides telephonic or chat support to clients when required
+ Schedules maintenance activity windows for patching and configuration changes
+ Follows the required handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity
+ Reports and escalates incidents where necessary
+ Ensures the efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests
+ Updates existing knowledge articles or create new ones
+ Identifies opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation of work, request fulfilment, incident resolution, and other general process improvement opportunities
+ May also contribute to / support on project work as and when required
+ May work on implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)
+ CCNA or relevant level 1 Network Security certification is good to have. Certifications carry additional weight on a candidate's qualification for the role.
**Required Experience:**
+ Entry-level experience with troubleshooting and providing the support required in security / network/ data centre/ systems/ storage administration and monitoring Services within a medium to large ICT organisation
+ Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain (i.e. Security, Network, Data Centre, Telephony, etc.)
+ Working knowledge of ITIL processes
