- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm's freight transportation services. Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships.
- Knowledge in handling Ex-Works Shipments.
- Very Prompt and active body language in handling the customer.
- Responsible for developing a plan to achieve sales target
- Contacts with NVOCCs and thorough knowledge about different sectors.
- Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs
- It is important that they can work and contribute in a team oriented environment
- Perform Cold-calling and work to build a book of businesses
- Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
- Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers
- Day to day Freight and market updates
- Have good understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
