Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments via various modes of transportation (road, air, sea).
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
- Track shipments in real-time and provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, pricing, and logistics services.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities and ensure data integrity in the system.
- Assist in the management of inventory and warehousing operations.
- Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and safety standards.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet client needs.
- Identify opportunities to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Handle claims and insurance processes for damaged or lost goods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a logistics coordination or similar role.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, shipping procedures, and customs regulations.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work model.
