  • Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy, minimize discrepancies, and reduce stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Oversee the effective utilization of warehouse space and resources to optimize operational flow and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and security regulations within the warehouse environment, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and support.
  • Manage and operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams, transportation providers, and other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
  • Resolve operational issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order fulfillment time, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and meet customer requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively in a remote oversight capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Adaptability and resilience to manage dynamic operational demands.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
