Job Description
Who we are
We’re a 10-year, fully remote Amazon FBA business built on three straightforward values: own your work, test everything, and keep it clear . Our team designs, launches, and scales consumer products on Amazon (US & UK). We work with clear ownership, tight SOPs, and a strong data culture - balancing speed with accuracy.
About the Role
Own the PO-to-receipt flow for our Amazon business. You’ll follow our ClickUp workflows and SOPs to keep A-SKUs in stock, select the right lanes (slow/fast sea or air), and maintain clean, compliant inbound to FBA/AWD - escalating early when risk appears.
You will:
- Keep us in stock: Monitor weeks of cover; flag inventory-at-risk and propose recovery plans.
- Deliver OTIF: Hold timelines from deposit to receipt; manage exceptions and communicate clear next steps.
- Optimize landed cost: Compare quotes and choose slow/fast sea or air; consolidate smartly; update COGS when freight, duty, or FX changes.
- Stay Amazon-clean: Prevent chargebacks with correct docs, labels, routing (FBA vs AWD), and appointments.
- Run the workflow: Execute existing ClickUp processes for PO planning, production tracking, and shipment milestones.
- Own the paperwork: Gather/verify specs, packaging, and shipping docs (CI/PL/COO/MSDS, etc.).
- Maintain COGS: Keep SKU-level landed-cost sheets current (unit, freight, duty, fees, surcharges/GRIs).
- Manage routing: Decide AWD vs FBA and handle related casework.
- Coordinate on the ground: Work with our China-based assistant on photos, samples, factory follow-ups, and QC scheduling; apply/refine QC checklists.
- Communicate early & often: Lead weekly supply reviews and surface stock risks to stakeholders (including PPC) for throttle/lift decisions; keep tasks/SOPs up to date.
Once you join, we’ll run a structured onboarding so you can dive into our catalogue, processes, and tooling stack quickly.
Benefits
- Salary: $1,500 to $1,800 USD per month (full-time, 40 hrs/week)
- Fully remote, async-friendly schedule. Must have reliable overlap with GMT and China Standard Time (CST, GMT+8).
- Work in a small team, directly with the founders
About You
- Experience: 5+ years in supply chain or logistics (exporters, e-commerce, or 3PL/forwarders)
- Amazon know-how: Hands-on FBA inbound (carton and pallet labels, appointments); understands when to use FBA vs. AWD and what each requires.
- Process discipline and judgment: Follows SOPs, asks when unsure, makes calm trade-offs; decisions are data-driven and documented.
- Documentation and compliance: Works with Incoterms, commercial invoices and packing lists, HS codes and duties; keeps clean paper trails that prevent chargebacks.
- Tools: Strong Excel (pivots, lookups, simple what-ifs); comfortable reading reports in Power BI.
- Communication: Clear written English; escalates early, sets next steps, and keeps stakeholders updated.
- Ownership and reliability: Hits timelines, manages exceptions, and keeps ClickUp tasks current; steady under pressure.
- Continuous improvement: Tracks FBA/AWD rule changes and freight/tariff shifts; suggests small, practical improvements.
Bonus points for:
- Mode optimization: Chooses slow sea, fast sea, or air based on margin and stockout risk.
- Tooling: Familiar with Power BI, Make.com automations, and ClickUp (or similar).
