Key Purpose / Areas of Responsibility
Key Purpose of Role:
- This role has responsibility for development, debugging and verifying of all the work assigned and is expected to work in all areas of embedded software development (review and understand requirements, design, implement, code reviews, debugging, test, document and support). li>Ensure compliance with development life cycle, coding standards and quality.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:
- To design and develop embedded firmware and enhancement in existing functionality.
- Involvement in Software Development Life-Cycle Activities (requirement gathering, elaboration, solicit clarification, documentation). Unit Testing, Perform Code Reviews as to best coding quality and as per coding conventions.
- To coordinate with other teams as and when required to build product with system compatible, left shifting bugs or gaps.
- Identify the quality KPI’s and ensure compliance at each stage.
