ROLE: We are looking for a Sliding Head Multi-axis Programming specialist to write,develop and optimize CNC programs on SLIDING HEAD machines using CAM software.
Key Result Areas
- Develop, optimize Complex CNC programs on Multi axis ( >6axis) machines using CAM software for new part development.
- Review and validate technical drawings, conduct feasibility studies, analyze design specifications, blueprints, and production requirements to determine the feasibility of precision machining components in terms of tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing cycle times.
- Develop and optimize Complex CNC programs for new parts development on Multi axis machines,Turn Mill, VMC, 3 axis / 5-axis machining centers, Multi axis sliding Head using CAM software (Espirit).
- Selection of appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices for each machining operation.
Incumbent profile:
- 12-15 year exp on Sliding Head machines ( Star/Tsugami/Citizen/Tornos machines. with low tolerances of upto even<5 microns.
- Ability to write complex programs and providing end-to-end solutions from concept stage to development including tools & fixture selection
- In-depth knowledge on manufacturing processes and machining process optimisation analysis.
- Working knowledge on ESPIRIT/ Any CAM software.
