Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Plant & Machinery Maintenance Executive to oversee the maintenance and operational reliability of all equipment and machinery within the facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong background in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and machinery upkeep. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute preventive and routine maintenance schedules for all plant machinery and utilities.
Conduct regular inspections to detect early signs of wear or malfunction.
Respond promptly to machinery or equipment breakdowns and restore operations with minimal downtime.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and utility faults and perform repairs or escalate to service vendors.
Monitor the functionality of key utility systems including AHU, RO Systems, Compressors, HVAC Units, Generators, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems.
Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance logs, fault diagnostics, parts replacements, and service history.
Ensure machinery breakdown slips are tracked and documented accurately for future reference.
Maintain inventory of tools, consumables, and critical spare parts for uninterrupted maintenance operations.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safe operation of all machinery and utility areas.
Conduct safety checks and participate in risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
Train machine operators on basic equipment handling, preventive measures, and emergency shutdown procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or ITI Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
ITI Trades Accepted: Fitter, Electrician, Mechanical Maintenance, etc.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment used in industrial plants.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Proficient in diagnosing issues in compressors, RO plants, generators, HVAC, and other machinery.
Skilled in preventive maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.
Familiarity with industrial safety practices and statutory compliance.
Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and time management.
Good communication and coordination abilities to liaise with internal teams and service vendors.
