Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and sub-systems for automotive applications, including wiring harnesses, power distribution modules, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical).
- Perform system integration and validation of electrical components and assemblies.
- Conduct testing and analysis of electrical systems to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues during vehicle development and production phases.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Develop test procedures and validation plans for electrical components and systems.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables related to electrical system development.
- Stay updated on emerging automotive technologies, electrical systems, and industry trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and product quality.
- Support manufacturing and assembly processes for electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive electrical system design and development.
- Proficiency in automotive electrical system design tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
- Experience with vehicle power electronics, battery management systems (BMS), and charging systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with automotive testing standards and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
