Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lift Technician located in Raipur. The Lift Technician will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair of elevators, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring all electrical components are functioning properly, and conducting regular inspections to maintain safety standards. The role involves hands-on work and requires adherence to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Skills in Elevator Maintenance, Repair, and Troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Elevators and Electricity
• Experience in Maintenance & Repair of lift systems
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Certification or diploma in a relevant technical field is preferred
• Prior experience in the elevator industry is a plus

Proven leadership experience, preferably in branch operations, business development, P&L management and preferably from Elevator Industry

Strong business acumen with the ability to drive growth, optimize costs, and manage branch profitability.

Job Description:

1. Carry out & maintain the day-to-day maintenance operations (electrical, electronics & mechanical (hydraulic & pneumatic)) and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the plant.
2. Should be aware of all electrical statutory & regulatory requirements as per the government regulations & establishes & maintains if missing any, from time to time.
3. Perform regular maintenance & maintain proper condition of HT yard, LT Panel, Distribution panel, Capacitor panel, Earth Pits etc. activities related to the facility Services for Electrical Maintenance Services at the plant.
4. To understand & comply with all Sealed Air EHS Standards like Machine guarding, PPE, LOTO, Hot Work, Work at Height, AED, Safety Management System etc.
5. Ensuring that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime.
6. Training staff on equipment operating and maintenance procedures.
7. Diagnose breakdown problems.
8. Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
9. Monitor & Controlmaintenance tools, stores,equipment & cost.
10. Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
11. Sourcing & Vendor management: Coordinating with maintenance vendors for spares purchase & Maintenance activities.
12. Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program" of all machines, utilities etc.
13. Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.

Background:

• Proven track record in a MNC as Plant Maintenance Engineer.
• Must have 7+ years in Plant Maintenance.
• Experience of the Packaging materials industry or food industry or Pharma packaging.

• Proven experience working in plant maintenance operations required.
• Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Familiar with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
