Location: Belapur / Navi Mumbai

We are looking for a Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Executive with a strong background in shipping & logistics , specifically in NVOCC and Freight Forwarding operations .
Experience Required:
3 to 6 years in M&R role within a shipping/logistics company
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with container depots for maintenance and repairs
- Inspect, approve & manage container damage and repair requests
- Manage procurement of new containers and coordinate with container traders
- Handle sale of old containers in a cost-effective manner
- Visit depots weekly for physical inspection and follow-ups
- Coordinate with overseas agents regarding container damage or issues
- Prepare and maintain a monthly report on container damages and repair status
Candidate Profile:
Prior experience with NVOCC operations
Understanding of freight forwarding processes
Strong coordination and negotiation skills
Familiar with container types, condition criteria & repair processes
Willingness to travel locally for depot visits
Strong communication with overseas teams and vendors

About the Role:
Manager Breakdown, Repair & maintenance is to ensure that equipment and machinery in a Café set up are maintained and repaired efficiently when they break down or experience unexpected failures. The role involves a combination of technical, managerial, and organizational tasks. Here are the key responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Break down maintenance: Responsible for 450 cafes and 200 CDX(Xpress) outlets across the country .

- Supervision: Building program of all heating and A/C and Refrigeration based on daily schedules
- Equipment Inspection and Assessment: Conduct regular inspections of supplies, tools, machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to breakdowns or unexpected equipment failures, ensuring that downtime is minimized to maintain
- Diagnosis: Identify the root causes of equipment failures and breakdowns by working with maintenance teams and using diagnostic tools.
- Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance technicians, mechanics, and engineers to ensure prompt repair and maintenance activities
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, such as personnel, tools, and spare parts, to address breakdowns efficiently.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain a maintenance schedule to prevent future breakdowns by conducting routine maintenance activities and predictive maintenance.
- Cost Management: Monitor and manage the budget allocated for breakdown maintenance, making sure it is used effectively and efficiently.
- Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and suppliers to source replacement parts and services as needed for repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of equipment breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference and analysis.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to higher management on breakdown statistics, downtime, and measures taken to address them.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards to protect the well-being of maintenance staff and other employees.
- Training: Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel to enhance their skills in diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement to reduce the frequency of breakdowns.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of spare parts and supplies required for breakdown maintenance to ensure an adequate supply.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring breakdowns by addressing underlying issues.
- Quality Control: Ensure that equipment repairs and maintenance are done to high standards to prevent frequent breakdowns and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production and engineering, to understand their needs and coordinate maintenance activities accordingly.
- Overall, the breakdown maintenance manager plays a crucial role in minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production processes, and reducing maintenance-related costs QSR (Quick Service restaurant) environment.
Experience & Qualification:
- Any bachelor's degree (mechanical, electrical, industrial, etc.) is preferable.
- 4 to 6 years Overall 2+ Years - experience in Retail chains.
- Good Arithmetical & Reasoning Ability
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
- Clear communication during breakdown situations to coordinate activities and provide updates.
- Extensive Experience in A/C and Refrigeration for Repair and maintenance of equipment in Cafés
- Capability to assess the technical skills of the maintenance team.
- Knowledge In Troubleshoot
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and managing maintenance activities.
- Ability to leverage technology for planning, scheduling, and analyzing breakdown maintenance data.

**Non-Conformance Management**
+ Lead or support the investigation and resolution of non-conformances, customer complaints, and audit findings.
+ Track, trend, and report non-conformance data; implement CAPA strategies to prevent recurrence.
+ Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop effective containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**
+ Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Repair & Maintenance (R&M), and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
+ Provide QA support for new product introductions, process changes, and supplier quality issues.
+ Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers on QA topics, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.
**Risk & Safety Assurance**
+ Participate in quality risk assessments and FMEAs to anticipate and mitigate risks to product quality and safety.
+ Exercise _Stop Work Authority_ in the event of safety concerns or critical quality non-conformances.
Job Location: Barmer, Rajasthan, India
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical), Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
+ Solid knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
+ Experience with quality metrics, statistical analysis, and process capability assessments.
+ Proficient in reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.
+ Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
