Experience & Qualification Knowledge:
- Graduate Engineering (Mechanical) with 8-10 years of experience in maintenance department, preferably from gear industry.
- Organized person to ensure the preventive maintenance schedule.

Job Purpose: Execute all activities relating to mechanical Preventive Maintenance to achieve Company objectives at the lowest possible cost and at the quality expectations established by company while maintaining a healthy, safe and clean work environment.
Roles & Responsibility
- Coordinate and perform routine & preventive maintenance activities on existing systems and equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting problems on machinery, HVAC, ETP, Generator, Compressor, RO plant, DM/Softener plant and refrigeration.
- Equipment Scheduling for ensuring proper testing, calibration & preventive maintenance.
- Spares Part Management.
- Ensure all the repairs and preventive maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
- Improve up-time of equipment & reliability.
- Improve MTBF and reduce MTTR & % of breakdown.
- Handling of plant shutdown, major repair & PM task (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly)
- Knowledge of POKA YOKE implementation & low-cost automation.
- Ability to lead cost saving initiatives in energy & maintenance spare parts.
- Analysis of plant breakdowns & addressing root causes.
- He shall possess an understanding of abnormality handling.
- Knowledge of TPM would be an added advantage.
