Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Makeup Artist to join our fashion team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in editorial, campaign, outdoor shoot makeup, with a keen understanding of current fashion trends and skin tones. You will play a key role in bringing our fashion concepts to life through your artistry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply makeup to models for fashion photoshoots, campaigns, lookbooks, outdoor shoots and promotional events.
• Collaborate closely with stylists, photographers, designers, and creative teams to interpret and execute the desired look.
• Stay updated with makeup and beauty trends to create modern and fashion-forward looks.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards while using tools and products.
• Assist with minor hairstyling when required.
• Be prepared for touch-ups during shoots and quick changes during shoots.
• Maintain and manage makeup kits and inventory.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a makeup artist in the fashion industry.
• Portfolio of past work showcasing a range of makeup styles (editorial, campaign shoot , outdoor shoots, natural, glam, etc.).
• Solid understanding of color theory, face shapes, and lighting effects on makeup.
• Attention to detail and a creative flair.
• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification or degree from a recognized beauty/makeup academy is a plus.

• Professional certification in Makeup Artistry and/or Esthetics.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Makeup Artist and/or Esthetician.
• Proven ability to consult and advise clients effectively in a virtual setting.
• Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products, skincare ingredients, and application techniques for diverse skin tones and types.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for making clients feel comfortable and understood.
• Experience with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and digital client management systems.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse makeup styles and skincare expertise.
• Creativity, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for the beauty industry.
