Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze functional and business requirements for the Retail Banking Collections system.
- Design and execute manual test scenarios and test cases across all stages of the collections lifecycle, including:
- Early Collections
- Late Collections
- Legal Collections
- Validate end-to-end collections modules such as:
- Customer delinquency tracking
- Automated collection triggers (e.g., SMS, Email)
- DPD (Days Past Due) bucket-wise segmentation
- Promise-to-Pay (PTP) capture, follow-up, and closure flows
- Agent allocation, activity tracking, and escalation rules
- Perform daily status reporting to stakeholders and test leads.
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA , ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) , User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , regression testing , and pre-production validation .
- Maintain detailed documentation including:
- Test case repository
- Test summary reports
- Traceability matrix
- Defect logs
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs and review meetings with business analysts, developers, and QA leads.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3–4 years of manual testing experience, with at least 1 year in the Retail Banking Collections domain .
- Strong understanding of:
- Early, Late, and Legal collections processes
- Regulatory compliance related to NPAs and recovery
- Ability to write high-quality test scenarios and test cases aligned with business rules.
- Solid understanding of SDLC , STLC , and Defect Lifecycle .
- Experience in using JIRA for defect tracking and test cycle management.
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright .
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman .
- Exposure to SQL queries and basic data validation.
