Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, operations, and quality assurance, will be essential to ensure that automation solutions meet project objectives and business needs. The Senior Process Engineer will also be involved in conducting risk assessments, developing validation protocols, and performing factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs) for automated systems. Continuous monitoring and optimization of automated processes post-implementation to maximize performance and minimize downtime will be a core focus. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in process engineering with a significant focus on manufacturing automation is required. Proven expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), SCADA systems, robotics integration, and experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) are essential. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are mandatory. The ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects concurrently, and communicate effectively across different time zones and cultures is critical.
