**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
+ 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, working knowledge with Control Systems, Lab view or equivalent software.
+ Working knowledge on Digitally connected equipment and process that uses advanced technology like the Industrial Internet, sensors, software analytics.
+ A strong background in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is essential.
+ Should be skilled in regular inspection, servicing, and repair of machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, calibrating, and updating equipment, along with adherence to safety protocols, is crucial. The ability to maintain precise control over automated processes is also required.

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Lead New Product Introductions (NPIs) and manage manufacturing transfers for existing products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
+ Define and optimize assembly and testing process flows, ensuring efficient and scalable production sequences.
+ Set up and validate production infrastructure, including jigs, fixtures, and testing equipment to support high-quality manufacturing.
+ Manage & own product and process risks(PFMEA), drive quality (DPU) improvements across factory and forward production, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing defects.
+ Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and ensure seamless implementation of changes on the manufacturing floor.
+ Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, digitization efforts, plant modernization, and advanced manufacturing practices to support continuous improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with medical device regulations and oversee their implementation and execution on the shop floor. Own quality matrix of shopfloor (Nonconformities, CAPA etc.)
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
+ 2+ years of experience in Process engineering
+ Medical Device Industry experience is preferred
+ Sound knowledge of Manufacturing process (Assembly process, Automation), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), Jigs Fixtures design.
+ Knowledge of Electromechanical parts, assemblies.
+ Hands on experience on Problem Solving, failure analysis tools. (Lean & Six Sigma tools)
+ Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS)
+ Good communication skills (Oral/Written)
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Experience in Six Sigma and CAPA process
+ Should have skills like methodical, responsive, and highly organized; have good analytical skills.
+ Excellent knowledge of materials, parts, product design and quality standards (ISO 13485) and requirements.
+ Good knowledge of the company's technology, production capabilities, tools and assembly methods and be able to use CAD (Computer aided design) tools.
+ Good at working within budget and meeting deadlines; and have an excellent understanding of health and safety issues and requirements.
+ Strong bias for documentation & technical reports
+ Leadership skills can be an asset if their work entails overseeing and coordination of technicians
+ Effective multitasking and ability to deliver on time and with quality
+ Ability to work in a team with good Interpersonal skills.
