Role Overview
The role is within the Digital Department, specifically in the MES team for the project management. The position involves program managing the entire MES implementation end-end (from conceptualization till deployment) across TEPL business units.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Responsible for creating project charter
- Responsible for the planning, execution and closure of the project in line with the business needs and timeline
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Resource identification and allocation
- Tracking the project status including monitoring of scope, resources and budget
- Follow sprint methodologies for application deployment
- Track the application development team’s resource allocation and weekly deliveries
- Assess the skill of project team with the help of technical team and ensure right resources are allocated to the project
- Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure dependencies are met on time from other functions
- Drive the entire project team (internal and external) towards achieving the project goal with desired quality and timeline.
Review of Project Status (Internal/External)
- Daily stand-up meeting (with project team):
- Daily activities discussion
- Discuss priority actions and results
- Discuss risks and its mitigation plan
- Internal Reviews (weekly with team leads):
- Update project status via dashboards/meetings.
- Highlight risks and mitigation plan
- Highlight help needed
- External Reviews (weekly with vendors):
- Review project status through meetings.
- Resolve issues via meetings or shop floor discussions.
Essential Attributes
- Managed large MES implementations (preferably in EMS/Semi-conductor industry)
- Knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., OPCENTER, Si-View, or equivalent).
- Strong project management skills
- Skilled in project management tools like Microsoft projects, JIRA etc.,
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple projects
- Knowledge on Agile methodologies and sprint deployments
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech (Any specialization)
- PMP certification (preferred)
Desired Experience Level
