Please note this is a product-based fabrication and execution role within the design and architecture space. It is not related to film or media production.

We are looking for a Production Head with experience in lighting, product fabrication, or interior execution to lead our in-house production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of manufacturing, vendor coordination, and on-site execution, while maintaining the highest quality standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 5–6 in-house production staff
  • Oversee fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation of lighting fixtures

What You'll Do In The Role

  • Proactively detecting, troubleshooting, and resolving all issues affecting production applications. This involves coordination with and escalation to development and external teams where necessary. This team owns all issues escalated to us until it is resolved or a workaround is provided for end user to continue functioning.
  • Responsible for maintaining clear, concise, and timely communications with affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage. Responsible for the stability of the Production environment.

+ Familarity with automated plating systems and advanced plating technologies

Our client is a leading manufacturing company seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to enhancing our production processes from any location. You will be instrumental in optimizing manufacturing workflows, improving product quality, and increasing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement and optimization. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC) is essential. You will be responsible for analyzing current manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Key duties include developing and refining production procedures, designing fixtures and tooling, and collaborating with production teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes. You will also be involved in troubleshooting manufacturing issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production. Experience with CAD software for tooling design and familiarity with automation technologies are highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production.
  • Design and implement process improvements, including tooling and fixtures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and control process parameters using statistical process control (SPC).
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring manufacturability.
  • Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automation and robotics in manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
