Education, Qualifications, and Experience
Essential
- Graduate in Industrial/Production Engineering or related science-based discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience (with at least 3 years in time and motion study).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Time & Motion Studies, IMT/OMT, Element sheet workings.
- Dyesect reporting.
- SAP PP Module (Reporting).
- Power BI (Project creation & updating).
- Every Angle (Query creation).
- Lean Management techniques.
- Statistical tools & Minitab analysis.
- Different Coats threads, machine types, and running conditions.
- Experience in:
- Conducting risk assessments and JSAs (Job Safety Analysis).
- Value stream mapping.
- Project management.
- Team management (local legislation, worker routines, incentives, workload allocation).
- Factory-wide incentive schemes.
- Knowledge of Coats Health & Safety policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools up to Black Belt/Master Black Belt level.
Desirable
- Professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma (BB/MBB).
- Experience in large-scale process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, database, and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, influence, and train teams.
- High attention to detail with strong time management.
- Capable of creating and maintaining action plans to support key objectives.
- Proficiency in English (with interpretation and documentation translation abilities).
