GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The role of Manufacturing Project Engineer is to direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning and organizing manufacturing projects of different product lines to completion within Manufacturing Value Streams and at Third-Party Integration Build Suppliers. Through effective and accurate planning, this position ensures the completion of projects by creating accurate project schedules and solutions to design challenges and production delays to provide a high-quality product in accordance with customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL J OB FUNCTIONS: Project Management
- Develop the product build cost estimate based on customer requirements defined in the Product Definition.
- Develop the project schedule by studying the project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends then recommending actions.
Product ion Management
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, and schedule changes then recommending actions. • Control project costs by approving engineering releases and change orders and monitoring purchase cost versus
material cost estimate.
Eng i neer ing Management
- Review engineering design and documentation while collaborating with engineering to create manufacturable structures.
- Evaluate and approve engineering design change, specification, and documentation releases. • Provide feedback to engineering on design issues discovered during the build process.
Manufactur ing Management
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by working with shop supervision to assure compliance to procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to team effort by involvement in Continuing Process Improvement initiatives. • Assist and train less experienced Manufacturing personnel.
- Lead production team to the completion of assigned projects.
- Ensure that the final product meets customer specifications.
- Perform post project analysis relative to reliability, cost effectiveness, and process improvement opportunities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Educat ion: Bachelors Degree in Operations Management or related Engineering field
Exper ience: 11+ years of experience in planning/scheduling in a customized / engineered to order manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 Years of leadership experience; Deep ERP systems knowledge including configuration control. Experience working in ISO certified organization.

Responsibilities:
- Driving the Vendor Development process by understanding the project requirements through Kick off and Design Review meetings, identifying vendors and conducting vendor visits to check capability to deliver products in time, implementing and managing projects to a successful conclusion. - Evaluate assigned contracts to identify, document, and manage key prime contract and subcontract risks in relation to scope, schedule, and terms through the life of the project.
- Coordinate closely with Design, Techno Commercial and Engineering & Operations for continuity and overall program effectiveness.
- Ensure that subcontract internal estimates are completed using internal standard norms for benchmarking purposes prior to award of the subcontracts.
- Develop/Maintain approved subcontractors list for the project and help updating company’s subcontractor database.
- Verify the invoices submitted by Subcontractors in accordance with the Methods of Measurement defined in the Subcontract.
Requirements:

- B.E (Mechanical/Production)
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Stainless steel manufacturing experience
- Preferred to have basic CAD/3D Modelling knowledge

What You'll Do In The Role
- Proactively detecting, troubleshooting, and resolving all issues affecting production applications. This involves coordination with and escalation to development and external teams where necessary. This team owns all issues escalated to us until it is resolved or a workaround is provided for end user to continue functioning.
- Responsible for maintaining clear, concise, and timely communications with affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage. Responsible for the stability of the Production environment.
- Develop and continually revise (in partnership with other teams where necessary) suitable policies and procedures to ensure appropriate application development standards are available to guide development for systems deployed to Production.
- As the gatekeepers of the Production environment, responsible for ensuring the Change Implementation Management guidelines/policies are adhered to for all systems deployed to Production.

- Solid analytical skills, problem determination, and resolution recovery processes

Lead product costing processes including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and cost roll-upsDrive cost planning and control for manufacturing operations – working closely with operations, procurement, and supply chain teamsEnsure robust inventory accounting and valuation , with a strong focus on WIP and FG controlsAnalyze production variances, scrap, rework, and other key factory KPIs from a finance lensSupport month-end close processes and deliver insightful plant performance reports to managementPartner with digital teams to automate and optimize finance processes such as BOM costing, consumption reporting, or variance trackingSupport ERP and system implementation/enhancement projects related to manufacturing financeAct as a finance business partner to the plant head and production teamsEnsure compliance with internal controls, cost audits, and corporate finance policiesRequired Skills and Qualifications:
