The QC Engineer (Civil/MEP) is responsible for ensuring that construction activities comply with technical specifications, standards, and client requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, material testing, and reviewing documentation to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
For Civil QC:
Inspect ongoing civil works such as RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
Verify formwork, rebar, concrete mix, and curing processes.
Monitor third-party testing of materials like cement, sand, aggregates, bricks, and concrete.
Ensure proper documentation of material approvals, inspection requests (IRs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
For MEP QC:
Inspect installation of HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing systems, fire-fighting, and other MEP services.
Verify testing and commissioning of MEP systems as per design and safety standards.
Ensure correct routing, cable management, pipe sizing, insulation, and earthing practices are followed.
Check and verify materials as per approved make and technical submittals.
Common QC Duties:
Coordinate with contractors and consultants for inspections and approvals.
Maintain and update quality checklists, logs, and QA/QC reports.
Issue NCRs and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

4. Vehicle Inspections:
