We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on improving manufacturing processes, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring product quality. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate with various teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to design and implement cost-effective manufacturing solutions that meet both operational and customer requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production workflows, reduce downtime, and enhance throughput.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Select and implement new manufacturing equipment or tooling that can enhance production capabilities.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and validation of new machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper upkeep of manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
- Provide technical support to the production floor, troubleshooting and resolving issues that impact product quality or manufacturing efficiency.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, address process-related challenges, and maintain workflow.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to develop and implement testing and inspection processes for raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Work to resolve any quality issues and ensure that products meet the required specifications and customer standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing defects or quality failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste (e.g., time, materials, energy).
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Implement automation solutions and new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of process changes, equipment specifications, and production reports.
- Provide regular reports on project progress, production metrics, and cost-saving initiatives to management.
- Document technical designs, processes, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Work closely with other engineering teams (e.g., Design, R&D) to develop new products and transfer them from design to production.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources for production.
- Support the development and training of manufacturing personnel on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
