Job Summary

This role focuses on driving continuous improvement in factory operations. The Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer will work with internal and external teams to optimize production processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze factory flow and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to improve performance.
• Support ramp-up and sustaining operations.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in process improvement or lean manufacturing.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Production) or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations management.

• Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans to achieve production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Oversee all day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
• Lead and mentor a team of production managers, supervisors, and plant personnel, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement and champion lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage operational budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource utilization.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and automation to enhance manufacturing processes and productivity.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and quality assurance departments to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable supply of raw materials and components.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical), Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director, VP).
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing facilities and driving operational improvements.
• Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain management, and quality control systems.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a remote team and operations.
• Demonstrated success in cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
